Community Development Financial Institution Certification
Muskogee Federal Credit Union is certified by the U.S. Department of the Treasury as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). CDFI Certification is the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s recognition of financial institutions serving low-income communities. The mission of CDFI is to expand economic opportunity for underserved people and communities. CDFI Certification gives institutions the opportunity to obtain CDFI Fund grants that are used to provide affordable financial services and products to those low-income and underserved communities.
